My Reputation

I’d like to be known for keeping my word
And for being honest, that must be assured
I’d like to be considered as a person who is fair
And for displaying to others how much my heart cares
It’s important to be reputed as one that endures
And to be remembered as a person who is faithful in prayer
Confidence is important, I’ll show that I am sure

Of myself, of my savvy...that I’m a man of my word
That I’m also altruistic, that my cupboards are never bare
That all men are my equals and that I will always share
I hope that those who know me will feel good to refer me
As a person with an open door, that I’ll always be there
